Everything needed to tell Aysha’s story accurately and with dignity.
Summary
Aysha is a quiet caregiver who, without being asked, spent four and a half years caring for a family friend living with advanced Alzheimer’s disease and the effects of two strokes. She also cares for an elderly aunt and for the abandoned community animals in her neighbourhood. While she cared for others, her own legal and financial obligations accumulated; they now carry “Wanted” and “Travel Ban” status. The campaign, organised by first-hand witness Saba Shahzad, raises funds to resolve those documented obligations — with a commitment to full transparency.
